Group Rentals:
Twenty-five cabins are available for overnight lodging with each cabin
sleeping 10 to 12 people in rustic bunk beds. All of the cabins have
electricity and most are equipped with heaters. Group members need to
provide their own bedding or a sleeping bag.
A centrally located washroom facility called "The Castle", is
winterized and modern with private showers and electricity outlets to
accommodate hair dryers/razors etc.
Our Lodge can seat up to 260 for meals and our full size commercial
kitchen is perfect for large group food service. Meals for rental
groups may be provided by the Camp Reed cook, or if desired, groups may
provide their own food/cooks.

Challenge Course & Climbing Wall:
Groups may also take advantage of the high element challenge course and
climbing wall adding a unique experience while developing teamwork and
communication skills among members of your group.
Each Group of 12 participants requires a facilitator. This ratio is
very important to ensure a positive and safe experience for all.
Facilitators go through extensive training including a yearly refresher
training to continually update their skills and learn new techniques.
Facilitators will use “Challenge by Choice” to encourage participants
to expand their comfort levels and test their limits.

Camp Reed Challenge Course provides
the opportunity for your school, group, or team
to grow together! Through fun and challenging
activities and positives dynamics, we facilitate
individual growths and team bonding. activities
are not designed to be competitive, but rather
progress through a series designed to increase
confidence, communication, & competence. The
philosophy is “Challenge by Choice”. Participants
age 12 to adult must be in good physical condition.
Tier One
- On site at your school or classroom (30 participants)
- 4 hour ($200) or 6 hour ($300) programming
- Schools may internally share programming hours
Tier Two
- At Camp Reed
- $300 per group (12 participants per group)
- 4 hour program
Tier Three
- At Camp Reed
- $450 per group (12 participants per group)
- 6 hour program allowing greater emphasis on team building
- 30 low and high course elements
Workshops:

- Teaching Out of the Box - Pt 1
- This workshop is an introduction to experiential education! We will introduce fun and effective ways to work with students in the classroom, utilizing experiential adventure-based learning. Learn activities that will foster trust-building, team work, & cooperation in the classroom.
- Saturday October 18th -- 9am-5pm @ Downtown YMCA
- Teaching Out of the Box - Pt 2
- This intermediate level workshop will equip teachers to make the most of teachable moments by introducng new experiential education activities suitable for classroom use. Emphasis will be on utilizing creative processing techniques to encourgae students to personally apply and grasp core group individual concepts.
